Data you input in to the GVG is used to record totals of which participants are acting upon which tasks in the GVG. This data may be held and used electronically or manually. a) Aggregated information about which venues are acting upon GVG tasks, and how, may be presented to other users of the GVG.
b) The data about your venue will be available to the administrators of the GVG website (employees and freelance consultants of Festivals Edinburgh) in order to track your venue’s progress with the Green Venue Initiative and to enable them to track the general usage of the Guide to make improvements to it. No other users of the GVG will be able to access your data.
c) Festivals Edinburgh and Creative Carbon Scotland reserve the right to use aggregated information about venues’ actions to promote the success of the Green Venue Initiative to the public and to stakeholders
You have the right to apply for a copy of the information we hold about you (for which we may make a small charge to cover the cost of administration) and to have any inaccuracies corrected.
